Coulee (formerly La Crosse) Collaborative to End Homelessness
Project Manager
In her role as Project Manager for the Coulee Collaborative to End Homelessness Julie McDermid works each day to coordinate the unprecedented collaboration it takes to solve complex social problems such as homelessness in our community. Working to end homelessness not just in La Crosse but in a four county region including Crawford, Monroe and Vernon counties, over the past two years the Collaborative has completed the development of a Command Center, including a System Performance Measurement Dashboard, and created, implemented and secured funding for two radically innovative programs - the Outreach/Housing Navigation Program and the Collaborative Prevention program. For her work as a passionate advocate Julie was awarded the Relentless Badger Award by her former co-workers at Independent Living Resources in 2016 and the Mental Health Shining Star Award in 2018.
